One of the best 10k races in the area.

Brilliant event and I hope it keeps going. Love doing it every year and it’s become a tradition for my family.

Lovely route through the countryside

Lovely friendly race, with the opportunity to run fast for those who are so inclined but very inclusive for slower runners also. Nice flapjacks at the finish as well!

A lovely, scenic, friendly 10K

This was the second year Maidenhead AC has made this a club target race and all our runners rated the event very highly. Well done to the organisers, marshals and helpers!

A brilliant friendly 10k that hits the spot for faster runners and slower ones

The organisation is excellent; the course is challenging rolling hills so it’s not a pb course. But coming off the cross country season and the start of road running it feels perfectly positioned in the year. The marshals and signage works well and the flapjacks at the end are to die for.

my first race so the metrics were good to establish a baseline

A challenging 10K with some good hills, lovely scenery and closed roads.

There could have been more signage for the starter pens. The finish was a bit chaotic, - medals drinks etc should have been given out further back from the finish line (maybe down a funnel). Some people missed out as they were trying to get out of the way of other runners finishing.

Really lovely local event

Toilet situation needs revising. I was not comfortable using the school toilets, same queue as men, very open (the ones within classroom). I understand there are portaloos at start but maybe some female only at the race village would be good.

A must do event

Very well organised on a testing but beautiful course. The tough climbs were were made up for by the scenery and views from the ridge.
Only negative is the overly complex race results site. Unable to just look down a list of finishers and have to look up individual names to see how others did ( apart from award winners). Need to be able to see a full list of finishers and times etc.

All-in-all a fantastic friendly event raising money for the primary school that I attended in the 1970s!

I think it would be good to give awards to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd men and lady overall (as most other races do), rather than just to the 1st man and 1st lady.

Had an absolute blast at the Goring 10k today! The atmosphere was electric, the course was beautiful, and the organization was top-notch. Huge thanks to the marshals and volunteers—can’t wait for next year!
